In developing the menu for our restaurant our desire was to create a House Made Salsa – a salsa that not only uses the freshest and highest quality ingredients – but one that has a unique flavor, without compromising the taste.  After much trial and error, our father Chef Al formulated what is now known as Maria’s House Made Salsa ~ Mild.  The salsa was well received by our customers, so much in fact, that nearly one year later four additional flavors of salsa were born.  Maria’s House Made Salsa is home to Mild, Roasted Habanero, Roasted Habanero with Mango, Black Bean with Roasted Corn and Smoked Ghost Pepper.  

The development of Maria’s Comida was the foundation for our families second company, Pronko Enterprises, LLC, encompassing Maria’s House Made Salsa and our latest product: Maria’s House Made Barbeque Sauce (served on our Asian Baby Back Ribs and Asian Barbeque Chicken Pizza).
